Bailaor and Percussionist, the son of Estrella
Morena and Pepe de Málaga began learning the
art of flamenco dance from his mother at the age of
nine. While under his parents rhythmic teachings he
developed an interest in Flamenco percussion and began
studying cajón with master percussionist Manuel
Soler. José started performing professionally
alongside his parents at the age of sixteen at Costa
Vasca Tablao Flamenco in Miami and has been invited
to perform with such local artists as Rosa Mercedes,
Clarita Filgueiras, Irene Rimer and long side the great
Flamenco guitarist and composer, Pedro Cortés.
His most recent theater appearances have been at the
Guzman Center with La Rosa Flamenco Ballet featuring
Manolete and beside his parents and the famous Flamenco
singer, Carmen Linares with the New World Symphony at
the Lincoln Theater in Miami.
